Tortugas’ Lie

Nestled among the dunes of the Outer Banks town of Nags Head, you’ll find a delicious slice of the Caribbean known as Tortugas’ Lie. Founded in 1989, Tortugas’ is home to some of the beach’s finest fare.  A great menu is only the beginning of what makes Tortugas’ Lie so special. This quaint little OBX restaurant is not only a locals’ favorite, but the destination for hungry vacationers year after year.

Blue Moon Beach Grill

Another Nags Head favorite is The Blue Moon Beach Grill. The Blue Moon is a quirky, fun-filled dining experience providing Southern comfort food with a creative twist and flair.  The staff will be very cordial and Southern hospitality will always be king. They want your experience to be a “Once in a Blue Moon” experience. Watch the blackboard for daily specials featuring some amazingly creative dishes.

Colington Cafe

Sometimes it’s hard to enjoy upscale cuisine at an affordable price. But you won’t have that problem when you dine at the Colington Café in Kill Devil Hills. Set in a lovely Victorian-era home graced with ancient oaks and beautiful gardens, this renowned restaurant has been an Outer Banks tradition for 25 years. Their celebrated chefs prepare both world-class seafood and other dishes on a daily basis.

 The Kill Devil Grill

Located at milepost 9 and 3/4 on the beach road in Kill Devil Hills is an Outer Banks original, The Kill Devil Grill.  This spot is another favorite of locals and visitors alike. Relax at the bar or sit down in the dining room for a great meal at the Kill Devil Grill. Ask about their fresh catch of the day for something truly special.

Sooey’s Barbecue and Rib Shack

Not everyone is a seafood fan. If that’s the case with you, then try Sooey’s Barbecue and Rib Shack for a delightful alternative. This is what Southern cooking is all about: hand pulled pork and chicken, succulent ribs, and Angus burgers with sides like potato salad, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and fried okra.  Sooey’s has locations in Corolla, Nags Head, and Duck for your convenience.
