You’ll find that the crew here has the utmost passion for delivering delicious brews and bites to all who enter!
When you walk in, you’ll find all kinds of unique beers on tap, from IPAs to lagers to cream ales, porters, and more. They have promised to soon offer beer cans, like Banquet by Coors, and other selections made locally and served nationally. They serve multiple tap selections that constantly rotate, so check back for more on what will be on tap when you’re in town!
In addition, many local beaches in this surrounding area and cafes and restaurants already serve Swells’a beer. So ask around if these establishments have it. It’s a popular local beverage choice and only grows more so with time!
The coolest part about Swells’a Brewing? Our rentals LaLa Land and Breaker’s Six are right across the street!

Outer Banks Brewing Station
The Outer Banks Brewing Station serves both takeout and dine-in as well, so you can eat from them pretty much wherever, whenever you feel like it. Their bar is open pretty late, depending on the night, so you can jam out to some local fun music, dance, drink and take your fill of delight until the morning.
Some of the brews served here, like the one and only Ölsch! Kölsch, are true local favorites for many reasons. This drink is their original, and they pride themselves in serving it up to dozens of people each day and night. They call this one a light draft beer, and it competes with the Lemon Grass Wheat Ale, which they also serve. These two are the best of the best for drinks!

Lost Colony Brewery and Café
The Lost Colony Brewery and Café welcome you to a wonderful drinkers’ delight with its fantastic menu lineup of great appetizers and soups and incredible burgers, quesadillas, and much more (including drinks). Speaking of great burgers, this café serves the one and only Angus Beef Cheeseburger, letting you pick the cheese for yourself. Another notable option is their Shrimp Boat, perhaps the top local favorite of all time!
But we’re here to talk about the beer! They’ve got some genuinely mouthwatering selections of ales here, including the Kitty Hawk Blonde, Hatteras Irish Red, Pamlico Pale Ale, and others. Check out the Northern Outer Banks Brewing Company, which offers a few snacks but mainly works as a brewery. Even though you can’t have a full meal here, you can rest assured in knowing that they get serious about doing drinks and doing them well. They put all their passion and effort into making some of the best local beverages you will ever sip, such as the outstanding Swan Beach Honey Pale Ale, which is just as sweet and wickedly tasty as its name implies. Indeed, this drink is made only locally, so you can find it only right there at the northern Outer Banks!
Not in the mood for that one? Don’t worry; you’ll find plenty of other options. Lately, guests have enjoyed the Honey Oatmeal Stout, Penny’s Hill IPA, Corolla Blonde Lager, and more. The selection of beers on tap frequently changes, giving you the chance to sample something new every single time you come in. Be sure to ask the staff for their recommendations for the best local beer!

Weeping Radish Farm Brewery & Butchery
The Weeping Radish Farm Brewery & Butchery prides itself on being one of the very oldest microbreweries in North Carolina. This place has been around for almost 35 years and is genuinely one of the most notable businesses in the community. Their traditional lager beer is Corolla Gold, which you will see served in a medium-sized golden metal can, is one of the best beers around. It features a malty profile of sweetness and has been a staple selection since 1986!
In addition to Corolla Gold, you can also try selections like the Black Radish, Red Ale, Yours Truli, and more. All of these beers are year-round options, but of course, there are seasonal selections available for purchase.
