1. Club Seaside Pet Luau at Salty Paws Biscuits
Salty Paws Biscuits is known for their homemade pet treats. They offer a complimentary pet luau that you must sign up for beforehand. Every pet will receive a special treat. This charming little store is a favorite among many locals and tourists. The luau will either be located in the store or in the grass area near the store. After your pet’s event, feel free to do some shopping at Jockey’s Ridge crossing. Most, if not all of the stores are dog-friendly!

2. Nags Head Woods
Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve is nestled right smack in the middle of the Outer Banks and is made up of 1,092 acres consisting of wetlands, marshes, sand dunes, and ponds. Leashed dogs are allowed on the Town Trail and Roanoke Trail as well as all gravel roadways. The trails are open from dawn until dusk every day. Make sure you register at the outdoor information center before you start exploring on your own!
