Make your vacation dreams come true at South Colony Cottage! This adorable 4 bedroom, one level, newly renovated South Nags Head cottage is just a short stroll to the beach. If you enjoy outdoor living, this is the spot for you. There is a ground level tiki bar with a TV and entertainment system, putting green, grill, plenty of seating, private outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, horseshoe and bocce ball court, screened and sun porches! Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the undeveloped wildlife refuge from the back porch or backyard. The 'H plan' layout inside is perfect for families and/or friends - 2 Jack and Jill bedrooms + bathroom on each side of the open concept living/kitchen/dining space in the middle. There is a TV in the living room and each bedroom. South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a residential only area surrounded by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Although it is quiet and non-commercial, it is only minutes from restaurants, retail and recreation. There is a 4.5 mile long multi-use path throughout South Nags Head that is perfect for running, walking or biking.

South Colony Cottage is the perfect balance of being close to everything Nags Head has to offer and being a quiet get away at the same time.
Perfect location! Enjoyed the 2 mins it took to get to the beach. The neighborhood is peaceful and you can still hear the beach-making summer nights extra special.
The downstairs was a true treat and our whole family and friends were surprised just how much entertainment we had while taking a break from the beach.
Would 10/10 recommend!

This cottage was perfect, we didn’t want to leave! It’s as advertised and more. The patio area was so enjoyable, we had friends and family staying nearby and they always ended up there hanging out. The Cola Vaughan staff were great to work with, very friendly. I was a litte worried about dog hair, since it’s a pet friendly rental, but not a trace of dog hair anywhere, very clean!

Awesome rental, close to the beach with everything you could possibly need! We had 4 people and 2 dogs with us and there was plenty of room. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the internet worked well for remote work. The sunsets off the back porch were a huge perk too. Definitely recommend!

Perfect rental! The house is cozy and has everything you need. Beautiful sunset off the back porch, relaxing deck off the front and a perfect “hangout” spot underneath. Short distance to the beach, which was nice as we carried our beach things with 2 dogs in tow! Owners take pride in this home and it shows! Highly recommend!
