Sound at Sea

- 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in Duck, NC

Very nice, clean, up kept house with great view of the sound. The kitchen had quality pots and pans and everything we needed.

Had a great time at Duck and enjoyed this house very much. It’s roomy, kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans etc… Beautiful large deck out back and nice walk way to the sound. We rented kyacks for the week and we’re able to leave and return directly from our private dock. The location is also very good. Only a few miles from stores and shops in Duck and about 10 min drive to Corolla where there are more store etc…and you can walk across the street through the neighborhood to the beach. Or drive up to Corolla for a public beach. Hands down the best part of this home are the views. Sunsets every night the were incredible. It was like “dinner and a show” every night as the entire back wall of the house in the dining room is glass doors. That by far was the best treat at the end of a long day on the beach. The house is close to the road, so the cars can make it a little noisy but it wasn’t terribly loud. There are lots of spiders outside around the doors, so we did have to sweep them off every morning. But we could sit on the deck all night and no bugs which was great. This house was great for our needs, we had six adults and lots of room.

Great location with amazing sunset views over the sound. Easy walk to the oceanside beach and short bike ride into Duck. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms and living area are comfortable. Really great deck and dock.
