Enjoy afternoons reading on the sun porch, relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean or playing with the family dog in the yard! Osprey is very well-maintained and tastefully decorated. We were extremely pleased with our stay at Osprey. There were 5 of us so having 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly and the additional spaces around the property were great.
We loved that the house included all the beach amenities including chairs, an umbrella, toys and even a cooler with a rolling cart that came in quite handy on our walks to the beach, which was so close. The Washer and dryer and outdoor shower was very helpful as well.
Osprey is located close to everything in Nags Head which we took full advantage of and is centrally located to other great areas of the Outer Banks as well.
WiFi and TVs worked great when we were spending time at the house, but the kicker was really the enclosed porch. We sat out there a lot with the windows open and feeling the ocean breeze while listening to music or playing games, even when it rained.
This property was very affordable as well and we would not hesitate to rent it again, although we loved OBX so much we may want to explore other areas on our next trip which we hope will be soon!

Stayed here again this year as we had such a great time in 2021. Did not disappoint! We love the short walk to beach and to Morning View coffee house! Our puppy loves the grass areas and we especially love the outdoor shower! Only recommendation I have is to add a HOT TUB under the house, change the living room furniture to something a bit more comfortable and add more lighting in the kitchen! For someone who loves to cook and make special meals, it’s way too dark in there at night. Thanks again Cola Vaughan. Hope to see you all soon

This house had absolutely everything we needed for my family of 5. The beds were all very comfy. The house itself is in a wonderful spot that is close to all local shopping, fishing piers, food, and such a short walking distance to the beach. The house was super clean and very well taken care of. We didn’t want the week to end! We had a great time, and are already thinking about rebooking this same house next year!

We had an excellent stay at the Osprey. My wife and I travelled with our two young children and stayed in this property. The highlight is the location of the home, it is just two blocks from public beach access so it is a very easy walk even with small children. The house also has an abundant supply of beach equipment like toys, chairs, coolers, etc which is a great bonus.
The house itself is small but worked well for our family of four. We could have comfortably had at least one more guest without issue. It is an older home but it is very well maintained so there were no issues. The house was well cleaned, both my wife and I were impressed by how clean it was for a pet friendly residence. I also think the mattresses have recently been replaced as noted in an earlier review. The beds were all comfortable.
Overall we had a great trip and were pleased with our decision to stay here.

We have stayed at this property three times because of its location. Its ideally situated with a short walk to the beach. Its a good property for a small family and it is managed excellently by the friendly team at Cola Vaughan Realty. The owners invested in painting some rooms in 2021 and updating light fixtures, and it has a nice fresh look but I encourage them to make a few comfort updates. The mattress in the master bedroom should be replaced and the heavy wooden framed sofa is uncomfortable and it would be nice if they would also replace it with something that is easier to lounge around on after a day at the beach. The kitchen has everything we need to prepare and serve meals.

Great minds think alike regarding the bed, the homeowner is replacing the queen size mattress before the 2022 season starts at Osprey. It is not always feasible for homeowners to make every improvement they would like to within the same year, but that bed has been next on the list after the 2021 improvements. First time renting with Cola Vaughan and was not disappointed. Exactly as described. Kitchen was stocked well with the necessities for cooking. Short walk to the beach, and best of all it’s on a very quiet street. You could hear the waves as soon as you stepped outside.. Looking forward to returning..

As a first time renter with Cola Vaughan, we were very happy with the house “Osprey” as it was exactly how described and shown in the photos. Very well stocked and clean kitchen, lovely enclosed porch, awesome views and comfortable beds made this experience truly wonderful! We will definitely be using Cola Vaughan again and can’t wait to try another rental home from them as they all look amazing.
