3 bedroom cottage with a private swimming pool and hot tub, just a short walk to the beach! This cottage is thoroughly equipped, including 5 TV's, WIFI, nice furnishings, toys and games, and more. Pleasant and very well-equipped kitchen. Fabulous outdoor space including a large fenced in pool area and screened porch. You will find Mid-Haven to be a comfortable cottage with a quiet location and easy beach access.
South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a totally residential area enveloped by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore yet is only minutes from a variety of retail and recreational outlets (Jennettes Pier, Tanger Outlet Mall, many restaurants). Families will find the quiet, low-traffic and non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive to the grocery store, restaurants, the movie theater, or a putt-putt course. The large multi-use path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road for its 4.5 mile length and is great for running, biking, or walking. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is a full service marina with boat ramps and is just a couple of miles south of Midhaven if you need a convenient location for offshore or inshore boating and fishing.

We love this house and plan to come back next year. Very homey and cozy. The hot tub and screened in porch was so nice and convenient. Two recommendations we have are to add a stackable washer/dryer inside and to upgrade the WiFi so the TVs work well consistently. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We absolutely love Midhaven. We especially love the addition of the seating in the screened in porch. We can sit out there and relax without worrying about being eaten up by bugs or our dogs running off. Thanks!!

We loved this house! We’ve been coming to OBX for over 20 years and it is the most well stocked house we’ve ever stayed in. The pool is large and amazing. The beach is a bit of a hike but it’s not terrible. Quiet neighborhood with lots of dogs. My only suggestion would be to redo the pool decking and concrete. But we want to come back next year we enjoyed this house and all the natural beauty around. We saw lots of birds, butterflies, and frogs to the delight of my kiddos and Labrador! Highly recommend!

In the spirit of transparency, we want to make our guests aware that this reviewer has requested we remove this review after we were unable to fulfill their 2022 reservation request due to the time period they requested not being available. We have expressed multiple times our regret about this but unfortunately cannot clone Midhaven for them. Since their review is entirely focused on their 2021 experience and the features of the home, we do not believe that removal is fair to the homeowner or that online reviews should be contingent on future events outside of our control.
