There is a convenient ground level store-room for your beach gear and a hot & cold out-side shower for rinsing off after the beach. This house is cute, comfortable and well equipped and you are certain to make some wonderful beach memories.
South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a totally residential area enveloped by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore yet is only minutes from a variety of retail and recreational outlets (Jennettes Pier, Tanger Outlet Mall, many restaurants). Families will find the quiet, low-traffic and non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive to the grocery store, restaurants, the movie theater, or a putt-putt course. The large multi-use path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road for its 4.5 mile length and is great for running, biking, or walking. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is a full service marina with boat ramps and is just a couple of miles south of Happy Crab if you need a convenient location for offshore or inshore boating and fishing.
