The Old Nags Head Cove Community Pool is open in the summer and guests may access the pool by paying a nominal daily or weekly fee. Guests may also have access to the Old Nags Head Cove boat ramp for also for a weekly fee. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here with our dog. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable. The views are stunning and the pictures cannot do it justice. Panoramic views of the water from every window, we even saw a pod of dolphins swimming right in front of the house! The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. This is the perfect place to come and relax. The neighborhood is super cute and very quiet with friendly neighbors. The house is conveniently located to the supermarket, outlets, and all the stores and local restaurants. The local beach is about a 5 minute drive, and the dog friendly beach is only 15 minutes from the house. The only critique I have is it would be great if the property had a few loungers to lay out and enjoy the yard a bit more, or some water sport equipment to take advantage of the dock, like a canoe or board. I look forward to returning again, and definitely recommend this property!

Loved the house and the location! Was perfect for our small group and our two small dogs! Amazing sunsets! Great crabbing from pier! Convenient short drive to beach!

This sound front home offers one of those most beautiful views of the water from all angles! It truly is “At Water’s Edge” you feel as if you are standing on the water from every window in the house. The dock offers a relaxing experience to enjoy a cup of coffee and we spent some time fishing as well! Inside you will find spacious bedrooms with bathrooms that were very clean! The kitchen is well equipped with all of your cooking needs (almost too much) it could use a major decluttering for the space that it offers, with that being said the appliances were all upgraded and newer! The fireplace was a nice feature also for chilly fall nights but we were uncertain about using it due to the fire brick being cracked inside. We had booked this home for a 2 week stay that we wish we could have stayed the entire time but had an unfortunate experience happen and had to cut it short to only 1 week. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood, with one of the best sunset views to offer in the Outer Banks I would definitely say this place can offer you that with 2 large viewing decks and a hot tub overlooking the waters edge!
