Discounted Outer Banks YMCA Membership. Recently Remodeled! Outside Hot-tub! Dune Deal has its own private sound access and beautiful unobstructed sound views. It’s a great location for watersports activities; kayaking, and windsurfing. The sunsets are breathtaking. The quiet neighborhood streets are safe for children’s activities like roller blading and biking. Jockey’s Ridge State Park is a short walk from the cottage.

The water park at the Outer Banks YMCA will keep the kids busy on days when the Ocean is rough and the red flags are flying! YMCA membership includes all the "Y's" many facilities and classes and even child-care and day-camp options for busy parents. Dune Deal will pay the first $50.00 of a weekly YMCA membership. The Sound shore near Dune Deal is a great place for kids to play (and for parents to relax). The shallow sound waters don't have the currents and waves of the ocean and we never have "red flag" days! The sound is also excellent for sail boats, and your pets will enjoy the calm shallow waters.

DIRECTIONS

Dune Deal is located near the waters of the Roanoke Sound at 510 West Deering Street. The cottage may be reached by either Soundside Rd. or Deering Street. Soundside Rd. is the first Street south of the pedestrian crosswalk and traffic light connecting the Kitty Hawk Kites & Sports complex with Jockeys Ridge State Park at about the 12.8 mile post or 12.8 miles south of the Wright Memorial Bridge over the Currituck Sound. You will begin to see Jockeys Ridge at about the 12 mile post .For Soundside Rd. take the first right south of the Crosswalk Light. There will be a white Baptist church on the corner. Follow Soundside Rd. for about .5 mile and eventually you will come to a stretch of the road with nothing but water on the right. Take the next left on Deering St. and Dune Deal will be the second house on your left (#510). Deering Street is the 2nd street south of the pedestrian crosswalk at Jockeys Ridge. The intersection has a traffic signal and the Nags Head Post Office is on the corner. Follow Deering until you nearly reach 13th Street just before the Sound. Dune Deal is #510; the second house back from the water on the right.
