The Sunny Side of Life offers a private pool with plenty of fenced in deck space in a quiet yet very convenient location just a very short walk to the beach accesses with lifeguards stationed nearby. Virtually no traffic on this street, yet right in the heart of Kill Devil Hills activities, with restaurants, grocery stores, amusements and a large municipal ball field and tennis courts just a short stroll away. Grab those boogie boards and take the short walk to the beach where you and your family can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean at its best. You can literally leave the car in the driveway at the Sunny Side of Life!

Your spacious private pool with 12 foot wide deck on 2 sides is fenced off in the back of the cottage with access to both deck levels, the enclosed hotncold outside shower and the ground floor with spacious laundry area, large game room/downstairs twin bedroom with color TV, VCR, microwave, and full bath. The kids might not ever leave the ground floor! The first floor deck is very spacious ( 10' x 30' ) and has plenty of chairs, chaise lounge chairs and that great granite table for dining al fresco, and the roof level deck has great views all around!

DIRECTIONS

Sunny Side of Life is on the south side of East Carlton Street, which runs parallel to and a block south of Ocean Bay Blvd./Colington Road, the major east/west street South of the Wright Brothers National Monument. Coming from the north via US 158 Croatan Highway: the intersection where Ocean Bay Blvd./Colington Road crosses US 158 is @ 8.5 miles south of the Wright Memorial Bridge and is the next traffic light south of the traffic light at the entrance to the Wright Borthers Monument. Turn left ( east ) at this next light/intersection onto Ocean Bay and then take the first left (south) onto Carolina Blvd. Take the first right (west) off Carolina onto East Carlton and Sunny Side of Life will be on your left about the 4th house, # 109. From the south via US 64 and Manteo: Go North on US 158 for about 8 miles. You will pass a traffic light at the intersection with Baum Street with the Western Sizzler on the left (west) and a Quality Plus gas station on the right (east). Carlton Street is the 5th street north of this intersection on the right (east) just before the Dairy Queen. Sunny Side of Life is on the right (south) side of East Carlton at # 109, the third house on the right from US 158.
