You can keep an eye on the kids playing at the beach from the cottage. Just Beachy is very well-equipped and furnished for your convenience. The location at the end of a shared drive is private and out of the way yet so close to the Beach! No thru traffic in this quiet ocean-side subdivision with only 10 cottages. You can relax without worries about the kids or the pets. There is also a convenient ground level store-room for your beach gear and a private, hot & cold out-side shower.

South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. Totally low density residential, enveloped by the Hatteras National Seashore yet only minutes from every commercial or recreational outlet, families will find the quiet low-traffic non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive to the grocery store, restaurants, a movie or the putt-putt. The large multi-use path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road for its 4.5 mile length is great for biking, roller-blading or the walker in the family. Oregon Inlet, the boat ramps and fishing center are just a couple of miles south along with the deserted beaches in the undeveloped National Seashore. Just Beachy is the perfect combination: accessible yet out of the way!

DIRECTIONS

Just Beachy is in the Suffolk Colony Subdivision near the 19 mile post in South Nags Head. Just Beachy is on the ocean-side of Old Oregon Inlet Road about 1/4 mile north of the the Aqua colored South Nags Head water tank. Coming from Virginia; about 16 miles south of the Wright Memorial Bridge is the Whalebone Junction area where US 158 & US 64 come together at the east end of the causeway to Manteo (coming from interior NC to the west). Whalebone Junction is also the northern intersection of NC Route 12 and Old Oregon Inlet Road. From this intersection drive @ 2.5 miles south on Old Oregon Inlet Rd. Just Beachy will be at the end of Spencer Street on your left on the beach side. You may also follow Highway 12 to the south towards Oregon Inlet and Hatteras for @ 4 miles from the junction of US 64 &158 and then turn left onto Old Oregon Inlet Rd. Just Beachy will be @1.5 miles north on your right. After turning into the Suffolk Colony Subdivision on Spencer Street the cottage will be on the left at the end of the Spencer Street right on the Beach.
