Now Pet Friendly! Driftwood is a beautiful, well-equipped, feature-packed reverse floor plan with great views and easy Beach Access in a quiet central location just right for families. The top floor is a great room/kitchen/dining room combo with cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, access to a covered porch and open deck wrapping around the south and east sides of the house and access from the master bedroom to a private deck on the rear of the house. The living area is also well equipped with surround sound DVD stereo, VCR and a large color TV. There is a half bath accessible from the living area. The upstairs master bedroom has a King bed and a TC/VCR, and a private bath. The first floor has three comfortable bedrooms, which are equipped with color TV's . Two of these bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd is equipped for the kids with twin beds.

The is a large hot-tub on the rear deck off the first floor. The ground floor has a spacious laundry area, and a large game room with color TV, VCR, microwave, apartment sized refrigerator and table, as well as a queen sleep sofa. There is also a holf bath. Outside there is a private hot/cold outside shower, and a nice area for grilling. The cottage also has plenty of parking for up to 5 vehicles.

DIRECTIONS

Driftwood is on the west side of Memorial Boulevard, which runs parallel to and a block west of Route 12, Virginia Dare Trail, the Beach Road; and 2 blocks east of US 158, Croatan Highway. Driftwood is the second house from the corner north of Atlantic Street on the west side of Memorial and about 10 houses south of Martin Street. Martin Street & Atlantic Street run east to west near the 9.5 mile post (@9.5 miles south of the Wright Memorial Bridge to the Outer Banks) in Kill Devil Hills. Atlantic Street is the first street south of the traffic signal at Martin Street which has a CVS drugstore on the NorthEast Corner and JKs Ribs on the NorthWest Corner. From the South Atlantic Street & Martin Street are @ 7 miles north of US 64 and a couple of streets north of the traffic signal at Neptune Street which has 7-11 on the SouthEast Corner and Burger King on the NorthEast Corner. We recommend using Martin Street (CVS on corner) as both the entrance and exit from US 158

The ground level "5th bedroom" is a convenient "suite" for the kids with a TV and VCR, table, microwave, small refrigerator and half bath ( which with the outside shower right there makes for almost a third full bath.) The Pet Fee on this cottage is $100.00
