The Beagle Club is a spacious reverse floor plan. The entire top floor is a great room/kitchen/dining combo with cathedral ceilings and a half bath all paneled in juniper with big windows opening to vistas of the nearby ocean, the historic Bodie Island Light-house and sunsets over the Sound waters to the west. The four bedrooms on the first floor up are divided by a central hall. The two bedrooms on each side of the hall share a full bath. The oceanfront bedrooms open onto a covered porch which has a stair up to the large sundeck off the great room. This is a great arrangement for two families.

The Beagle Club has full parking below and can easily park 4 cars or several cars and a boat/trailer. The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center and Boat ramps are very close by. The Beach is about 900 feet (a long block) with direct access. The cottage is on a feeder street with no thru traffic and is a perfect place for kids to bike & roller blade. There is a large store-room for your beach gear and a private, hot & cold out-side shower. South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. Totally low density residential, enveloped by the Hatteras National Seashore yet only minutes from every commercial or recreational outlet.

DIRECTIONS

The Beagle Club is at 10118 South Colony South Drive near the 21 mile post in South Nags Head. The cottage is on the west side of the street and borders Park Service property. South Colony South Drive is a feeder street running Parallel to Old Oregon Inlet Road to the west. It begins around the 20 Mile Post and ends where Old Oregon Inlet Road enters Park Service Property and rejoins Highway 12. You may get to S. Colony by driving 3 miles south on Old Oregon Inlet Rd. It will be on your right. You may also follow Highway 12 to the south towards Oregon Inlet and Hatteras for approx. 4 miles from the junction of US 64 &158 and turn left onto Old Oregon Inlet Rd. S. Colony.. will be to your left. The cottage will be approx. on half mile north on your left.
